Neha Bhasin, a versatile Bollywood playback singer, whose first break in Bollywood came with the song 'Kuch Khaas Hai'  from Fashion (2008), also earned her her first Filmfare nomination.

While her song ‘Dhunki’ from Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) garnered her immense popularity, it was the song ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ from Sultan, in 2016, which brought her the first Filmfare award for ‘Best Playback Singer’. 

She is well-known for her work in Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood, and independent songs in the Indian pop and Punjabi folk music genres. Her enchanting voice effortlessly navigates languages and musical styles, creating an eclectic repertoire that ranges from mainstream Bollywood songs , Telugu playback hits to popular Punjabi folk tracks.

Neha became an overnight sensation at the age of 18 when she was chosen for the 5-girl pop group Viva by Coke V popstars, a nationwide talent search conducted by Channel V.  The band ‘Viva’ entered the Limca Book of Records for getting an audience of 50,000 for their first concert. 

In 2008, she won the ‘Vijay Award’ for Best Female Playback Singer for her debut Tamil song, 'Pesugiren Pesugiren', composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. In 2021, she was named artist of the month on Spotify by Times Square Billboard for her song 'Oot Patangi'.

Neha collaborated with Malaysian Hip Hop star Emcee Jesz for the song ‘Thaniye’. The song has over 300,000 views on YouTube alone. It was also nominated for "Best Collaboration" at the Radio Raga Awards in Malaysia (2008–09).

Neha's music effortlessly traverses realms of traditional folk ("Chitta Kukkad"), Indipop ("Baby Mera"), and the fusion in between ("Akh Kashni"). In addition to her musical journey, she has contributed as a judge, host, and even a contestant on various television talent shows throughout her career. Neha Bhasin's versatile and emotive singing continues to captivate audiences, embodying her deep connection to the music she brings to life.
